With reference to letter from this deptt dt 2nd sept 1840 transmits its copy of a despatch from the honble the court of director no 8 dt the 3rd ultimo statin that Hm's post Mr. genl. had communicated his satisfaction with the arrangments made for the collection and transmission to England.
