Orders regarding pay and allowances of military officers employed under the Civil Administration in Mesopotamia, who held no substantive appointment at the time of their transfer. (1) Officers of Civil Administration granted temporary military rank should draw pay of such temporary rank as well as the duty allowance. (2) Officers Joining Civil Administration after 1st February 1919 will not be allowed to draw any special rate of staff pay which they might have been drawing in military employ at time of their transfer. (3) Such officers to draw staff pay based on substantive military rank, namely, Lieutenants and Captains, Infantry, Rs. 100, Cavalry Rs. 150 a month, and substantive majors of infantry Rs. 200 and of cavalry Rs. 250 a month
