In continuation of his letter No. 7 of the 1st instant, reports receipt of a reply to his communication to the Paro Panlow, in which the Penlow assured him that he has ordered the persons carried off from within our border to be sent to him (Colonel Haughton) forthwith. Adds that he has taken steps to comply with a request from the Penlow for a supply of cinnabar and mercury to be used in the embellishment of the new palace at Tassisujon, cost being paid for same on notice.
