Request from an employee of the Hindustan Insecticides (P) Limited for permission to contest the election to the D.M.C- Decision that for the purpose of constituting an office of profit under Govt. in connection with section 9(1) (g) of the D.M.C. Act, 1957 the Government should posses the right of appointment and removal to that office. If an employees belongs to an Undertaking which is a Deptt. of Govt. the employee is a Govt. Servant. If the Undertaking is an independent corporate body created by Statute, its employees are not Govt. Servants and do not hold office of profit unless the power of appointment and removal is vested in Government
