With effect from February 25, 1929, Lieutenant Colonel E.H.S. James, C.I.E., C.B.E., a Resident of the Second Class and a Revenue and Judicial Commissioner in Baluchistan, was granted a one-month leave of absence. With effect from February 25, 1929, Lieut. Colonel J.A. Brett was officially appointed as a Resident of the Second Class and as the Revenue and Judicial Commissioner in Baluchistan. With effect from February 24th, 1929, Captain D.G.H. de la Fargue, Assistant to Political Agent in Kalat and Political Agent in Charge of the Bolan Pass, was appointed Political Agent in Kalat and Political Agent in Charge of the Bolan Pass in addition to his other responsibilities.
