Instruction that, in cases in which there is a short- break in the officiating appointment of a Govt. Servant either in the natural course of events or due to the taking by the Government servant of regular leave, the pay which would be admissible to him under fundamental Rule 31 on his reappointment to officials in that post may reasonably by restricted, under fundamental Rule 35 to what it would have been had the continued to officiate in that post without a break.
