Decision that orders sanctioning advances under rule 11 of the General Provident fund rule should state the specific purpose for which advance are granted and addition to this effect to the note under rule 11 (2) . Decision that the ultimate control of the Genera provident fund Should rest with the Government of India in the Finance department, but that the general administration of the fund and its rules should be conducted by the comptroller and auditor general to whom all references from account officer’s on general points of principle or relating to the interpretation of the rules should be submitted. Amendment of rule 14 to give effect to the decision.
