Raising to 5½ per cent the rate of interest charged to local governments on the provincial loan account. Decision that no loans shall be granted either by the Government of India or local government at a loan rate of interest than 6 per cent. Amendment of Rule 9(c) of rules framed under the local Authorities loan Act, 914, and of rule VI-28(b) of the rules published with resolution No. 361-E.A., dated the 24th July, 1916 so as to raise the minimum rate of interest at which loans can be made from provincial revenues to 6 per cent.
