In light of the unique circumstances surrounding the case, it was decided that the Chief Medical Officer of the North West Frontier Province should be given permission to engage in private consultation practise (which does imply private practise in the traditional sense) both while on tour and when another medical officer requests his or her services. but not at his headquarters in Peshawar.
