Concerning the exchange of medical care for railway employees from one nation who are on duty up to the border crossing locations with another nation. Instructions given to Indian border railways, etc. state that on a basis of reciprocity, facilities for medical attention should be made available by the Indian Railways concerned to Pakistani Railways employees on duty in India up to the interchange points, on the same scale and conditions as admissible to the Indian Railways employees in similar circumstances, and to the extent available in railway hospitals or dispensaries are not available, the travelling doctors should go, when possible. Regardless of whether the employee is eligible for a free meal during his hospital stay as an indoor patient, he should be transferred to the closest railway hospital in India if the disease necessitates hospital treatment, and all facilities should be provided without making any adjustments, regardless of whether the employee is entitled to a free meal while receiving treatment
