Question whether industrial employee should be permitted to undertake employment under non-government employer and so whether they should be permitted to credit 1/3 of such out-side income to the government. Decision that the railway employees are not to be permitted to take any private employment. The Ministry of Finance where further advised that should the Ministry of Defence find this necessary in so far as the industrial employees under that Ministry and decide not to recove 33/1/3% of the earning of such staff through such private employment, the Ministry of Railway consider that it would not cause any embarassment to them, , since they have to intention of permitions such private employment
