1. Instructions from the MHA regarding prompt intimation by the state Govt. to departmental authorities of prosecution, arrest of conviction of Railway serving to enable the departmental authorities to take action to place the staff concerned under suspension, etc. (in the case of retired employees). 2. Instructions to Railway Administrations that it is the duty of a Railway servant who may be arrested for any reason to intimate the fact of his official superiors promptly even though he might have subsequently been released on bail, failing which he is liable for disciplinary action. 3. A reply sent to UP Government that the instructions under item(1) above are applicable in respect of IRCA staff
