Following a particular ruling by the Calcutta high court, the issue of altering Rule 170 6(4)-R.I. to comply with Rule 12(4) of the C.C.S.(C.C.A) Rules, 1957, arose. Rule 1706(4)-RI-Amendment to the 1951 Edition of the rule was published in advance correction slip No. 175-RI (Letter No. E(DandA)64RG-5 dated 30-3-64).Since the rules have been updated as of January 10, 1968, no further action is necessary
