D and A Rules: Review of Orders in Discipline Cases Pursuant to Rule 1736(1)-R.I. Letter No. E(DandA) 61RG6-13 dated 31.1.62 and Item (i) of Paragraph 2 of L.No. E (D and A) 63RG6-33 dated 30-9-63 stating that Rule 1736(1) RI reviews should not be conducted during the appeal period, which was annulled by letter No.E (D and A) 64RG6-14 dated July 17, 1964. Home Ministry's directives from 17-10-61 are not accepted since they violate our rules, which allow appeals even against decisions made by reviewing authorities. Only one show cause notice must be sent in the event that a major penalty is increased to a higher major punishment
