Shri Jangde. Unstarred Question No. 1814 on the 13-9-1956 in the Lok Sabha regarding- (i) Railway School at Bilaspur. (ii) the reasons why fees are being realised from children whose parents are agriculturists. Decision that in accordance with the Madhya Pradesh Government's policy, following concessions may be extended to the non-railway students studying in the Railway Schools within Madhya Pradesh. (i) Grant of educational concession to the children of employees of State Government and Local Bodies. (ii) Grant of educational concession to the children of teachers serving in recognised schools. (iii) Exemption from payment of fees to the children of land less labourers. (iv) Exemption from payment of fees to the children of agriculturists possessing less than 20 acres of land. (v) Exemption from payment of fees to the children of political sufferers who possess less than 50 acres of land and have no other source of income or who do not pay income or professional tax. The grant of educational concessions to the children of teachers referred to in item (ii) above may be also be extended to the children of teachers employed in Railway Schools, subject to the condition that a Railway, School teacher enjoying benefits under State Government's policy will teacher enjoying benefits under state Government's policy will entitled to any further assistance under Educational Assistance Rules in regard to tuition fees. The above concessions will apply only in areas in which Madhya Pradesh Government give these concessions in their own schools
