The Board determined that the current paragraphs 1255, 1255-A, and 1256-GI ought to be modified in accordance with 1. 1255-GI. Replace the current paragraph with the next one. 1255-As stated in rules 1255A and 1256, contributions to the provident fund of a railway employee working abroad or in another department/ministry of the federal government, as well as the railway employee themselves, may be made by the foreign employer, the relevant department/ministry or state government, or by the railway employee himself, depending on the circumstances. The contributions will be made at the rate of one-eighth of the total amount of emoluments that the Rly employee may receive on a periodic basis, plus the amount that is payable or that would have been otherwise due on account of leave salary
