Western Railway: Workday restrictions for Stores Depot Employees stationed in Workshops: Could these employees be covered by the Average Clause? Directives given to Western Railway (i) after consulting with F(E)I partially amend paragraph 2(e) of letter No. E(LL)73/HER/MA/3 dated 29.7.74, stating that the clerical staff of the Stores Depot attached to workshops may be deemed to be subject to the average principle and that their work hours and overtime are governed by letter No. E(LL)73/HER/MA/3 dated 11.6.74. These directives are not extended to other Railways. (2) Considering the extent regulations, they may speak with their FA/CAO to determine whether to preserve the status quo or extend working hours in specific workshops
