Indian Trade Unions (Amendment) Bill, 1964. The following amendments were proposed:- (i) Persons convicted of offences involving moral turpitude under the Indian Penal Code would be debarred to work as office bearers of 5 years. (ii) annual returns which are submitted by registered trade Unions to the Registrar of Trade Union will henceforth be prepared on calendar year basis; (iii) the term officer wherever appearing in the Act will be read as office-bearer. (iv) the Indian Trade Union's Act 1926 will henceforth be known as the Trade Union's Act, 1926. No comments were offered as the proposal amendment were not likely to be affected the relation between the Railway Administration and trade unions of Railwaymen
