Travelling allowance - Journey by air Decided (1) that the mileage allowance laid down in Rules 239 (a) and 256 (4) RI should be reduced to one and one fifth of the standard air fare, w.e.f. 1.1.56. (2) That the mileage allowance for the forward and return fourreys provided for in rule 242-RI should also be correspondingly reduced to the actual cost of the return ticket plus two-fifths of the standard airfare for a single foundry between the two places and that this amendment will have effect from 1.1.56 but any over payment made at the old rates prior to 5, 6.56 need not be recovered
