Central Railway. clarified that for the proposes of grant of six months leave under sub- rule 1(b) of Rule 2237 (S.R.233)R- II. after the report from the medical authority has been received, the leave account already before the date of medical authority's report should also be taken into account. In other words the period of six months leave under this sub- rule should be reckoned from the date of last absence from duty of the employee before the receipt of medical authority's report and that the amount of leave debited against the leave account together with any period of duty beyond the date of the medical authority's report should not exceed six months
