28th Session of the standing Labour Committee at New Delhi on 10.7.68 Main subject for discussion on 'Automation' AMF and JDE(N) attended the inter-Ministrial Meeting held on 16.7.68 and the Standing Labour Committee meeting held on 18.7.68. Conclusion reach at the Standing Labour Committee was that the views expressed had been noted and would be taken into account by account by erament in arriving at a decision on the subject. Meanwhile the procedure being followed at present for screening of proposals reg-import of computers would contain on the question of going ahead with the present schemes for installation of computers, it was clarified by the Labour Ministry that there was no ban imposed either by the Government or the Labour Ministry of present
