Request from Woodmore Mr. S.R. Asstt. C.C.S. (Mech) that he may be exempted from passing the efficiency bar in the Jr. Scale- not agreed to. Decision that when an officer, who has been officiating in the Sr. Scale before crossing the efficiency bar in the Jr. Scale he should be put through the efficiency bar test and in case he fails he should be reverted to the Junior Scale and should not be promoted again to the Sr. Scale until he passes the test C.S.O. for Rlys. Permitted to cross the efficiency bar w.e.f. 13.10.49
