Rule 1302(10)-RI-amendment of- (1) The benefit of War service should be allowed also to pers who have been appointed permanently to vacancies which arose after 31.12.1947 (2) No refund of bonus or gratuity paid to the railway servant for such war service, as distinct from gratuity in lieu o pension for military service, shall be demanded from the railway servant. (3) A railway servant who quits service on or after 1.11.1959 and in whose case the war service was followed without interruption by appointment to and eventual confirmation railway service shall be allowed to count such continuons service in full. (4) Service in the Civil Defence Department is also to be treed as war service
