Evershed, Assistant Director, to succee Mr. Michie Smith on a salary of R1,000-50-1,250 per mensem with free quarters. Proposal appointment of a European to succeed Mr. J. Evershed as Assistant Director on a salary of R500-50-750 per mensem with free quarters. Proposed postponement of the introduction of an Astronomical Branch at Kodaikanal.
