In reply to no. 989 of the 23rd Septr. 1851 intimating that in Revising the Orders on teh Subejct of bedding for Euroepan SOldiers it Was not intended to make any chnage whatever in the rules for the Issued of Qults to Drummers of Native Regts. and Taht With reference to G G O of the 13th Juen 1809 there does not appear to be any authority for the Issue fo Qulits to Native drummers who are enlisted on the Pya and ca of Sepoys.
