With reference to a lr.of the 14th Ultimo states that the govr. genl.Approves fo teh Proosal to Supply old pattern 9 per guns for the exercise of the reserve companies fo Arty. at Stations where the guns fo the Lt. field batteries are not sufficent for the Purpose and likwise to supply spare Sponges with the guns .
