With refer to a letter of the 19th the Depy:Adtj:general of the army relative to a representation from surgon W.Agreen 7th battalion arty; regurding the loss of stuff allowed to which surgons with the head quater of Brigade battalion of Arty; are subject when a troop as compy;is not presentander their immidiate charge & to the earnest recommanding of the C. in chief that surgons at the H.Q. of Breigade & Battalion of Arty.should always recive full stuff salary with the a troop or compy;be presenter not;and with a view to aboiate the difficulty adwarted to in the comanding part of the depy;Adjt:General letter submits that the words at H.Q.be amitted in the 23rd rule of section 23code of 1849 page 224,when a full surgon.
