In reply to tgheir despatch no. 7606of the 5th dec. 1851 states there sum to be no quesation as to the cisit of Lt. atlinson Ex. Engr. 5th division D P W to Benaras from his sttion at Ghareepara in july last having beeen actually on duty his remaining at Benaras for ay extra to appear before the examination committee .
