With reference to former correspondence on the subject, submits the report of the Agent for Gun Powder at Ishapore on the proposed removal of the Works from that place to Allahabad, from which it will be seen, that after noticing several points, for & against the measures he is decidedly in favor of the present locality, adding as regards the removal that, teh outley would be great & could only be jatified on advantages not yet clearly defiened. The board observe, that it was preciesely to have these advantages defined, that Major Andreson was to have visited the upper provinces which he has not done.
