With reference to their letter no. 3917 dated 6th Instant intimates the nomination of 2nd Lieutt. Montgonerie of Engineers as a 2ND Assistant to the G.T. Survey as soon as he is relieved from the Thibet Road, and requests they will propose some other arrangement for filling the appointment of Assistant to Major Knyvett on the 2nd Division Grand Trunk Road.
