With reference to his No.,498 of the 30th Dec.1848 to the reply No.227 of the 27th Oct.1849 forwards certain papers on the subject of pension & pesioners at the 3 presidencies, for submission to the gover. genl. when para 40 & courts lr. nO.62 of 1850 shall come under this lordships notice.
