With reference to their despatch no 742 of the 18th July 1848 transmitting extract para 40 of a mily letter from the Honable the court of drs. no 43 dt. the 30th May 1849 concurring in openion with Government thjat the report on the Kiodak operatioins during 1847-48 was very satisfactory.
