Reports, that they have approved of the entertainments, as a temporary measure, of a Guard of 2 Chowkeydar, on monthly salaries of 4 Rupees each for protectng the records of the Executive officer, office, at Dacca, the mily guard, hitherto allowed having been removed, by the commanding, officer, in Consequence, of the sickness prevailing among the troop that station.
