Transmitting lr. No.40 dt.10th April last.1849 from the secy. to the Govt. of India in the Mily.Deptt. to the Address of the Adjt. Genl. of the army also return dt. 19th march 1849 regarding the ordnance abandoned by the Affghan army at Khyrabad.
