Transmitting lr. no. 4222 date 9th march 1849 from instt. dr. commissary Gerd. to the address of the adjt. Genl. of the army also lr. no. 164 date 20th march/49 from secy. to the Govr. of India mily dept. to the address of the adjt. grent. of the army conveying the G.Gt. sentiments in regard to the station.
