Stating with reference to his letter no 870 dt. 26th ultimo relative to the application of the officer commanding the scinde irregular horse for the addition of a Russuldar Major on Rs. 250 and a Kote Duffadar Major on Rs. 55 for mensem, that is the opinion of he President in council that no alteration whatever should be permitted only on much stranger ground.
