States that their letter no 3431 of the 27th july last, has been laid before, Govt.Submits, Copy correspondence having refrence to the destruction by fire of a tiled roofed buildings, connected with the Lime Godown at Dinapre, observe, that the proceedings, of the court of Inquiry have failed to solicit any information in regard to the orginal of the the fire and that certain unserviceable, and repairable, native hospital furniture, which were deposit within Buildings, have been likewise, destroyed, no blame attaches to the party, incharge of the charges of the Buildings, and that every possible erection was made to extinguish the fire.
