With reference to a lr. of the 26th Ultimo observes that Extra Batt is not admissible to Detachments on the ground of their being located at Outposts because they are not put to the expense of keeping upt carriage a circumstance deemed necessary to be kept in view in admitting batta on all occassions of parites of native troops.
