With reference to a letter of the 9th June 1843 solicits that Govt. will be placed to submit for the approval and sanction of the ct. of Drs. , his application to be permitted from the 1st Jany. 1850 to draw and receive his pension monthloy or quarterly in India at the exchange of 2-0 of the rupee, being cost Rs. 156-8-6 per mensen, instead of in England , as at present, such vouchers or other necessary documents in England being granted to him as may enable him to draw his pension in INdia this such office of account as Govt. may directed offers observations states that this agents who draw his pension in London, are messer crawford colvin and o p to be returned.
