With refernce to a letter of the 14th Ultimo, submits a Despatch from the Presidency Pay Master, showing the pecuniary demands on the Monthly Pay & allowances of Lieutt. Walenisley 16th Native Infantry up to April 1850, & as the public Deductions from that Officer's Pay & Allowances to meet awards of Mily. Courts of requests, & those odered towards the liguidation of the Pond 50 by the Court of Director's leave him of themselves an inifficient sum to maintain the efficient equepment required solicits orders before directing the Pay Master to proceed to the recovery of courts payment making in England to the Lieutt. Family.
