Acknowledgeing the receipt of a punjab medal sent by him with his ltr. dated 27th May 1853 - Annexes copy of lt.r form out pensioenrs F.Higigns late of H.M. 31st Regt. requsting that this pensin may be made payabke in England and with refer to G.G.A. 12th Aug. 1846 states tha the pensioer is not entittled to a free pasage.
