Reports having recd,an Intimation from the supt. of Marinem that so bad an accident has accurred to the Irrawaddie that her employments to bring down from dacca to chittagong a Wing of the 34th Madras Native Infantry is Chopeless , the Vesse, being upon a rock without much chance of being got off; and there fore solicits instructions whehter it would not be addvisbale to endeavour to make arrangements through the Commissriat for the early employments of suitable Boats which may be preocurable either at Dacca or at Chittagong top bring down , the Wing, as possible, was to prevent delay to the Fenaserim, as soon as she can be employed.
