With reference to extr. of the 11th august and 28thseptr. last realative to and application for paqy for a roman catholie prust at chinsurah in consequence of the temparary location at that station of a wing of a european regt. remark that it shorted have been stated on this case from the nuly dept. whwther the number of roman cotholic soldurs at chimsurah was considerd to be such as to coll for the temparary emplayment of a priest should this on enging appear to be the case3 govt authorize the grant of an officer Rs 50 per month to be made to the reud. mr. maguice for such piriod as the european.
