With reference to a letter of the 13th Sepr. last, states that the Govr. Genl. not onoly conours with Govt. tht there is no apparent objection to the grant to the men of the Govr Genl. Board generally as at present constituted of the privilegs with the respect both to pay and pensions enjoyed by the European soldiers but his lordship is further of opnion that these men are entitled as a right to the privilege in question and requests that his lordships strong recommendation may be conveyed to the court to recognize the right of these men to all in privilegwes enjoyed by the correspondence soldiers states that his lordship thinks that the board cannot be divested .
