With refrence to a letter of the 20th Sept'r last, transmits, one from Lt.Col Rowcroft and of its Enclosure from Lt. Gilbert regarding the debt due by the Ratter to the Estate of the late Captain morris 20th Native Infantry and states that he has requested the Lt.col to recover money and remit the same diect to this Department.
