In reply to a letter of the 9th instt., states that there are 3 children left by the late Qtr. Master Serj. Mac Carthy at present with his widow, 2 of whom are here by her former husnacd the late SErj. Middeldich , and only by her late husbandm that all areas receiving the ususal subsistence allowance from the orphan securty and that Appn. for lord clives pension will be duly forwarded when received a roll of the children accompanies.
