In reply to letter communication no 991 of the 25th ultimo- Transmits for consideration and orders, a letter from the superintendent of maraine stating that it apears that one of the guard sent with the Buwicts on the salween had deserted whilst he was at Peril Lescheuhault and the commander incussed certain expenses in endeavouring to apprehend him that the Bill for the same was submitted to the mily pay ofice from whence it has been returned , it is now proposedto have it passed in the marine office, payable by the marine mr to instruct the accountant to the govt. of Bengal to debit the amount to the financial department to which such charges belong.
