Calls for returns, in a prescribed form, showing in what Towns in this Presidency / including the non Regn., Provinces/ a system of municipal Govt. has been adopted; Law for natives are admitted thereto as well as Europeans, and with what result. Also requests an expression of the views of the Govt. of India as to the measures of success which has attended the working of the system and whether so far as it has been carried it has proud acceptable to the people.
