Proposal for the reduction of the allowances granted to the Political Officers, Sadya Frontier Tract and Balipara in Assam. Reduction of the special pay of the Political officer, Balipara, from Rs. 250/- to Rs.150/- p.m. and amendment of Table B of Schedule VIII to the Superior Civil Service Rules. Decission that it is within the direction of the Local Govt. to grant to or withhold from the Political Officers Sadiya and Balipara of the Compensatory allowances. Appointment of Mr. N.L. Bor of the Indian Forest Dervice as Political Officer, Balipara, in addition to his duties as Divisional Forest Officer. Treatment of the pay and allowances of Mr. Bor under the appropriate budget beads.
