The Bengal Alienation of Agricultural and Land (Temporary Provisions) Ordinance, 1944. Decision that Legislature cannot be held to be in session unless both Chambers are in session and where both the Chambers are summond to assemble on two different dates the date of reassembly is the late of the two dates but the matter is one which can finally be settled by Court & the promulgation of Ordinance would safely be confined to a time when neither Chamber is in session.
